just been to look at a job, 8m2 of mosaic travertine , £50 on materials and i was thinking about £250 labour? sound alright to you lot? the walls are lovely so not much in the way of prep. client out right refused tanking because her builder told her it was a waste of money and she didnt need it.

went in at £300 and said they'd had a quote for £280 but they liked me better than the other tiler and would i price match, thought about sticking to my guns but then thought sod it, its Christmas and it puts "Buzz and Woody" under the tree for my littlen. but i was going in at £250 until i heard your thoughts so technically even though she knocked me down im still £30 up. so cheers lads!!:8:

Exactly what I was thinking, Trav in a shower should be tanked in my opinion, mosaic Trav especially, for piece of mind, it's not too much of an expense to sleep sound at night.

out right refused if i'd put it to her anymore i think she could have accused me of bullying her into it , haven't met the builder yet but would like to know why he's so against it. it is playing on my mind a bit...

apparently the builder queried why i was planning on using an acrylic primer rather than pva too...
