I would use slow set white flexi adhesive if your not used to rapid set. All cuts need to be on a wet cutter, I find it cuts real nice.

When marking for cuts, use a pencil only, as a usual felt tip marker will soak into the trav. Make sure you seal twice before grouting, ensuring the sealer gets into any sides with rounded edges.

When grouting, angain I use flexi, do small areas and replace with clean water every wash. If you miss asome grout, don't panic. You can buy grime remover which will get rid of any so called lasting grout marks.
