so i recently did a kitchen reburb, the floor at either end was 25mm out meaning once the tiles were layed there ended bening 35mm lip walking into the room.

How would everyone deal with this?

As @whitebeam says, wooden threshold. They can be made in a variety of heights and lengths

yeah that what i thought of to be honest, was just wondering if there was any metal or a plastic ones you could by somewhere off the shelf. any how thanks fellas i will just make them from now on

Schluter do ramped transitions, but only to 20mm
If u could raise profile outside the room, it could give u options.
I tend to suggest latexing a small area outside the door to lift the adjoining floor covering.
Not always possible, but it is a solution.
