trim tile

Hi can anyone give me any ideas on how to trim an existing hole in a tile in situ, as it is slightly over the hole which is stopping my fan from fitting:mad2:.

This really would depend on what tools you have to hand.
Is this a square hole or round ?
My first choices would be an angle grinder with a diamond cutting wheel, or a rotozip with appropriate attatchment.

its a round hole. It only needs about 5mm taking off around the bottom edge of hole.

A half round tile file would be cheapest option.
