Hi everyone

I have received a delivery of 600 x 600 Basalt tiles - they were suposed to be 15mm but are only 13mm.
I have prepared the floor with slc at two different levels - one for the main floor and one for the shower area which is being tiled in a 10mm mosaic.

I now need to make up the level on the main floor with a 7mm adhesive bed.
Can anyone recommend which notched trowel would be best for this.
Thanks very much
Best Regards
Sky

Hi Sky,

It might be worth you using some more SLC as using a thick layer of adhesive on a flat floor can get quite messy to say the least, but I'm sure the SLC would work out cheaper too, and be much quicker overall.

It'll only take a think coat of SLC to get you your 2mm back.
