Tubbed adhesive question.

If the maximum size of tile for tubbed addy is 300m x 300m then surely there will be a maximum size of notched trowel. I never use the stuff personally but just wondered what your thoughts are ? I would have thought maybe 6mm trowel max ?

The maximum bed depth should be 3mm, so a 6mm should fine. You mention tiles at a max 300x300mm but they would be ceramic, porcelain I would use a spf.

I have used a 10mm notch previously but wouldn't recommend it, max 6mm notch.

i personally would'nt use tubbed addy . on a 300x300 tile , infact ban the stuff for me
