What show did you like the best CRACKERJACK or TIZWAS?

crackerjack was on tv Friday afternoons,have you heard of Wee Jimmy Krankie (THE KRANKIES) THATS WHERE THEY STARTED.


Tizwas- on Saturday mornings,bannanas in pygamas,custard pies etc,Chris Tarrant made his tv breakthrough on this programme.


Late 70's early 80's

got to be tiswas, followed by the adult version O.T.T.
and for budding tiswas fans its having a reunion show on itv at 9-15 t/nite should be alaff if out else.

Don't have a clue what you guys are on about,was that in the days of just black and white T.V's.

Didn't you have proper T.V. programmes such as The Fall Guy,T.J.Hooker,Chips,Starskey &Hutch,The A Team,Dukes of Hazard and MgcGiver.

These were programs of great character development and fantastic storylines.

Who couldn't love the way that everytime,B.A.,Hannibal,Howling Mad Murdoch and Faceman got traped in a barn they were always lucky enough to find a case of dynamite,a working blow torch and something that they could turn into a fully working tank in under 5 mins.

Colt Stevens was 'The Unknown Stuntman That Made Eastwood Look So Fine'. Now that guy could jump an open drawbridge and roll a brand new car and not get a scratch on him.

Well how about McGiver that crazy fool broke every Health and Safety rule in the book with his disregards for electrics but could always escape from anywhere and defeat the baddies.

You can keep your Tiswas and that other programme there not a patch on the great programmes I used to watch
