TX-900-N.. Your Thoughts, Plse!

Thinking of investing in the Rubi TX-900-N for a lge form job I mentioned previously - Anyone got one / use one regularly - interested in your thoughts, plse

I keep reading that they're only really good for long straights / parallel cuts in porcelain.. altho the promo vidz show detailed diagonals - Most of my set out angles should be covered by my DeWalt wet saw - but it'd be nice to know the Rubi could do it all..?!

You really shouldn't have asked that question here. Only trouble will come this.
TX 900N is fine. But like I said, prepare yourself for the Sigma rednecks to burst your bubble.
As for me, I'm getting out of town. You should do the same.:lol:

What do you mean about "detailed diagonals" The Rubi will have no trouble cutting in a straight line.....thats what it was designed for.

:lol: ..I always ask Q's like this with a sense of the trepidulations! I appreciate that everyone has an opinion..! I was just hoping for an objective review from a non-biased source.. ..but the engine's running, just in case!!! :lol:

I guess what I was reading suggested to me that there was some inherent 'grain' in porcelain, for want of a better word, that made angled cuts problematic..?

Can I assume that it shouldn't be an issue? (these are pretty dear 900x450mm Vilroy & Boch No's.. I'd love to do it with zero waste if poss!!!)

Done 1000's of metres with my 700 and 1200 TX's and in all that time there were only 2 tiles that I couldn't cut (neither could the shop Sigma) which the tile rep put down to them being "over cooked"
Most of my work is with porcelain and I couldn't be more happy with my choice.....

Looked at the two other main contenders, Sigma & Montolit.. Have to say, they both look a bit, well, bitty! (for want of a BETTER word!!!)

With the purposeful build & all your considered reviews, I settled on the Rubi - tradetiler have confirmed shipping this evening!
