Hi i am new to this forum and am looking for advice regarding the repair to my UFH cable (electric). I had just finished laying everything .... insulation, UFH matting, latex, ultraflex adhesive, tiles and you can guess what happened ! I was cutting the channel to lay bury the end of cable and the saw jumped back and knicked the cable. Have tested and confirmed the core wires are severed. Fortunately the cut is close to one end so I could either terminate it a little shorter or use a repair kit. Does anyone have any experience of using a repair kit ... and is it safe ?
