Hi,]
Can any one help please.
I'm ready to tile a kitchen floor in a bungalow(before Christmas) but it has not been decided if they want electric underfloor heating. However the walls have to be plastered asap so I need to allow for the first fix electrics in the wall now so that the cables can be installed(after the walls have been plastered) assuming it is a go for the electric underfloor.
Underfloor will be about 2 Kw. If I bury a round conduit in the wall from the loft through to the floor of the kitchen in the corner with a recessed one metal gang box at chest height for the controller will this be ok.
The sparky can then thread the supply down to the controller point. But will all the cables from the under floor heating go up one conduit or do I need more?
Don't want to hack off the wall plaster to add it in later.
Hope you can understand this!
