Hi all,

Repair kits are available from us at a cost of £15.58 Inc Vat.

Basically the Repair kits will bypass the damaged section with a piece of "cold" cable.

These should be fitted by an electrician as they need to be checked properly and signed off. I have attached a copy of the repair instructions for your info.

would it be possible to find out where the fault is , while a floor is still tiled so you only have to lift a tile or two?

It is possible to locate the fault so only 1 or 2 tiles need to be lifted. There is an engineer based in reading who has all the specialist equipment to find the fault. If you want his details please contact me.

This is brilliant, I have a lot of customers who were concerned about the UFH failing and having to pull up the whole floor to have it replaced. Spotty Dog :hurray:

i had a customer asking if i knew of any way to fix ufh as he broke his in 3 places taking up the old tiles,i told him about these kits weeks ago,i presume all is good as he said thanks for the info.

I use U heat all the time they are a great team to work with on any project, helpfull and sound advise
