Hi everyone, i am doing a quote for a kitchen floor and lookin for any advice with this. The floor has been well layed with chipboard (solid), and where it goes through an old doorway, which has been removed, the wood meets the old concrete floor which is 10mm higher. The concrete part is 1m wide and has a slope of 1" in total. Any suggestions on the best way to over come this.:huh2: Hope this makes sense!!!

from what you have described i would look at raising the wooden floor above the concrete and then using some self leveller on concrete to take the slope out. thats if they want it flat all the way through.expensive but cheaper than trying to get the concrete down to wood level.
hope someone can give you a cheaper/easier alternative
