Hi guys. I appreciate all the help I've received on the forum and apologise in advance for posting so many questions, however i do have one more.
I've had 18mm floorboards laid down, screwed in very generously all round and there is no movements or sounds. Most of the floorboards are flush with each other however some of them have a 1-2mm lip next to the other.
My intention is lay 6mm hardiebacker down and then 60x60 porcelain tiles on top.
Will these lips be a problem or will the cement boards absorb them.
Jf itsa problem, would it be wise to sand some of the edges to level them out?
