Got a bathroom to do and some of the existing tiles are still on. it reveals underneath some sort of fibre board that dates to 1930's, pre- plasterboard, anyone any idea what it is and would it be ok to prime and tile on as tiles seem well stuck on or would anyone recommend plasterboard over top? customer not really wanting any more thickness added to wall plus loo and sink are on this wall!!! any ideas lads

be careful with that board could well be some sort of asbestos board if its that old....best to leave it be and board over .....dave..
