Upgraded headlight bulbs?

Does anyone know anything about upgrading car/van headlight bulbs ?

My lass struggles with hers and one has popped so without upgrading to HID where I think you have to install other items to make them work, are there bulbs out there that will enhance her view ?

I did a search on this a while ago as I would like brighter lights. I found that the bulbs sold my Halfrauds that claim to be ??% brighter etc were actually no better.

I will wait until my next vehicle now.

There are a few brigheter bulbs on the market, such as phillips/ osram.

But HID's are the only way to get brighter.

Im not sure anymore of the mot legality on them, but once you go hid, you never go back. (and if you do, its much darker)

Have you checked the performance of the alternator? If thats on its way out, lights will be dimmer etc.

i have thought the same as you guys you see them coming towards you and you think ,i want them they are brighter,but if you think about it if we all get-them, then we are all going to be blinding each other,so rather than us all getting them why don't we ban them !! simples lol
