upvc panelling

Hi All,

do any members ever get asked to fix upvc panelling instead of tiles and is this becoming more popular? Also what sort of price would you charge per m2 as it should be quicker than tiling.

I usually try to advise customers to use pvc panelling on the ceilings but not the walls....i'm a tiler not a plastics man.........:lol: ........

Its just that they advertise on their website that its the cleaner alternative to tiling and was wondering whether it was the new in thing.

the plastic is a bit to flexable so i just stay away from fixing it as around the bath or shower area if the customer leans against it would split the seal and cause the water to get through

Never touched the stuff just heard few people talking about it, So its actually rubbish then.
