Van Sign writing

Just a thought after seeing a guys van that he did the signwriting himself after getting the decals off the Internet. He did a very good job, I couldnt tell the difference.
Has anyone else done this or is it better to get a company to make and install ?

Im thinking about getting mine done...Going to let them do it...You wouldnt let a builder to do tiling...So dont let a tiler to do sign writing!! :lol:

I done my Mk 5 transit ordering online & sticking myself. It wasn't the best but done the job. I got my Mk 6 professionally done & my Mk 7 is being done on Monday. Well worth the money having it done professionally. Good sign writing can bring in the business well. Bad sign writing I think can reflect on the quality of service you provide just like a messy van, cheap business cards & no uniform

For the sake of around £150 to £200 depending on size of van and style it is done in ... i would just use a comp... you should always make sure the vinyl is of a good quality or it can fade quickly or even blister in the sun..

Yeah just been quoted £160 for 3 sides so not worth the hassle really.

Depends what u want, i just wanted plain, name and what i do.
i actually look at vans covered in text and photos(trade vans) and just think they look rubbish, they also remind me of driving past gypsy sites and seeing all the 'plastic facia and gutters fitted' text ect and photos of gutters and facias on the sides of the white transits

Mine's nice and simple - white lettering onto the blue van and I bought the vinyl off Ebay and applied it myself. Not too tough a job and just £48 for both sides and the rear.

i did it myself neale and got 2nd van done by company it looks more pro in all honesty getting a good company to do it imo
