Vandalism - mindless as usual and the cost of repair / replacement

Met some mates on Friday night for pub drinks in Ware, Hetfordshire.

Drove the car over and parked it in a side street and collect it Saturday (no drink driving)


So some mindless idiot has thrown eggs, spat on the window, and ripped off the wiper blade.

I was severly tempted to drive it to the local nick and get them to DNA the gob on the screen but then I though no they wont be bothered.

Its so annoying to go out, do the right thing and not drink-drive and then see mindless vandalism.

It will cost me a wiper blade and a after a quick jet wash its mostly back to normal.

Grrr

Tonight I am going to the sportsman casino (Marble Arch) London so perhaps my luck will be better.

I think you're right. It'll cost me about £10 there and £15 back but cheaper than paying out for car parts.

About 6 months ago in Hertford I had the mirror ripped of my Mercedes.

OK so its an old Merc (N-reg) C-Class and I managed to get a mirror off ebay for £50 quid but its still costing me time, hassle and grief.

Think yourself lucky u didint leave it in Enfield....you would have come back to just the egg and the wiper blade!
