Does anyone use a vauxhall combo for work if so what's the best engine amd whats the mpg?

The best engine is one that runs and the mpg is fairly good from when i had one..

I had a 1.7 years ago and it was good for 40 mpg quite easy.

Are the 1.3 cdti's any good or is ot recommended to stay away

I had one for a few years and had nowt but trouble really, ended up sending it to Africa (really? yes!!!) to help them move food between villages as it was costing me loads to keep getting it repaired.

Cheers John. I got a berlingo 1.9d but its ao slow amd was looking for something a little more powerful. Whats the best van for its money?

You're always going to get differing views even on the same vans I guess. If you have a bad experience with something, whatever it may be, you steer clear next time.

I have a Nissan van and the engine is only 1500cc but it's solid. I don't do loads of motorway miles, generally work within 20 mile radius and I'm getting 40-45mpg easy out of it

That's the thing im doing 20k a year and looking to buy a low mileage van and just trying to find out whats the most solid

Mines an ex Royal Mail 1.7DI Combo. Its zoomy and gives over 40mpg.

Had a 1.3_cdti thot it was cheap tax it wasnt,peice a REMOVED it turned out to be,guess a got a bad one go for 1.7,oh and v/halls rust like REMOVED

I got a berlingo and they seem pretty good not sure y I'm looking at a combo

if after a belingo/partner, or scudo/dispatch/expert get the 2.0hdi about 50mpg
