Virgin ceramic Artist

I'm new to the site and new to tiling. I've already been given some great advice here and I'm about to start a small home project which i hope you'll all help me get through successfully. I'm an Art and Design teacher teaching A'Levels in cardiff S.Wales so i hope that i bring some practical skills to this profession, but to be honest I'm completely ****eing myself about stone tiling my small hallway, toilet and kitchen but I feel this is a right of passage for me in my new and first house. I will start up a thread soon which hopefully will include photos of the whole project as it progresses. Don't hold your breath if you are a professional tiler as it is only a 13 metre square job, although to me it's full of problems and puzzles to solve.
Regards,
Andrew.

More to come soon!:8:

Hello Andrew, welcome to the forum, good luck with the tiling, look forward to the pics..Mark.

You touch on a very important point in your welcome thread Anderw and that is you can see problems and puzzles in the job before you start.

In the past this is how I went about hiring new staff, if they could see problems and head scratch before they even started the job, that was the person I hired WHY?..................Because they were switched on to the job at hand and could identify problems before the had anything on the walls or floors this means they were better capable of solving these problems before they got under way and as a result the job went alot smoother and it would not cost me any money tring to fix problems by other staff who would rip and tear trying to impress.

Welcome to the forums Andrew I hope you enjoy your stay.

Cheers Mick
