i was doing a bathroom today for a plumber, ive done work for him before and hes been fine, however turned up this morning and this is what he wanted me to tile on....... the tiles are large format ceramic 500x300, he rang me yesterday to tell me all the prep was done ready for tiling....yeh right!!!!!.........the bit in the window reveal is the best, its a bit of mdf, not even fixed properly, if you press on it, it moves up and down like a yo-yo, he wanted me to p.v.a it and tile it.....:mad2:

I would be inclined to give the home owner the low down on tiling.

managed to pull a bathroom forward for tommoz.......still bugs me wasting a day...

I'm with Sir Ramic on this one....... I would explain to the customer why you're not prepared to do the tiling on this occasion.

yeha i would let customer know why you are not willing. at the very least it might save them a few thou having to replace
i am finnished for week got to job yesterday afternoon no power no water in building, not getting sorted till weekend. idiots

he said hes going to get it sorted to how i want it done, however hes missed his slot now,and it will be a couple of weeks before i get back, dont think his customer will be very happy, as there one and only bog was still on the landing when i left...:lol:
