some times i do same way, but allways wall tile sits on top of floor tile (less chance any water get through)Normally do walls first leaving out bottom cut, then do floor and put in last cut on top. I don't like walking around on a newly laid floor, if the walls take 3 days to do, that's 24 hours of unnecessary footfall on adhesive that will not have cured to full strength.

Has anyone who fixes the floor tiles first ever damaged or any other trade been in and damaged prior or during the fixing of wall tiles?
never in 10 years. and i strongly believe that wall tile should sit on floor tile as it's better seal etc. But wanted to hear from pro tilers
