walls and floor price to low ?

Evening All !! just working a quote out and thought id run it by you lot to see if iam going in to cheep !

JOB : Kitchen walls and floor
TILES : Ceramic
WALLS : Plaster board nice and flat
FLOOR : Concrete . lyno and laminate floor to come up . floor is almost flat but will be screeding over anyway . screed 2 bags.

Wall area is 11mtrs but theres a lot of cutting as the kitchen is fitted and the area to be tiled is the full walls top to bottom, also 6 chrome trims to supply and a wooden window cill to smash out and build up and Tile.
Floor area is 13mtrs fairly flat but to be screeded . tiles are Ceramic , will need 2 laminate to tile edges for the doors.

I recon 2 / 2.5 Days for the walls. and get £352 all in.

I Think 2 days should do the floor and get £384.50 all in.

Total £736.50 over 4/5 Days. What would you guys get ? Cheers !

what size tiles are going on the walls? are you removing the plinths to tile under and trimming them to go back after? these factors make a big difference. i couldn't price it without seeing it tho

customer is removing plinths and cornices , and all doors will be removed and cut to size by the customer mate ! tiles are no bigger that 8 by 6.

it's a pain doing full kitchen walls, my worst job. you'll obviously have to start with a full tile on the worktop then work down to the floor. that can really slow the job down

I Agree ! its also a nightmare having to stand on the worktops and do stupid cuts to the ceiling while doing the balancing act. come to think of it i might just add a extra bit on the price for that ! Ha Ha ..

Seems a bit cheep to me,when i do a homer i price it on how many days work there is i usually like to get £150 a day and thats labour only if theres materials then thats extra.It just comes down to how much your happy to work for.

90% of the time 30-35 per metre inc addy etc mark up on trims etc, are you removing the laminate etc? dont like pricing until I have seen the tiles or incase they want a pattern so give an estimate. problem is there is plenty of nuggets doing it at half the price at the mo!

Fair comment ! so lets say you get 150 per day labour , would you still charge the customer full price for the addy etc and get your full discount ? i worked it out that way but it comes in far to high and i no they wouldnt accept my price. the way ive worked it is that i get around 130 per day but also make a tiny bit on the materials etc. but i no i wont be a millionare any time soon with this way !

£130 a days in the park, i think most tilers make a little on the materials.What kind of hours with you be doing over the 4/5 days.
