Can anybody help with getting a cheap copy of Precision Tile Pro?

Sorry bishbosh, no. Have checked ebay europe for you, nothing. Only 1 company found selling the "Precision Tile Pro" software, www.LaurelCreekSoftware.com . I found there "Precision Tile" for ~ 25 pounds, but I think that is not what you want.

once the programmes up and running u can click "internet" at the top of the software box and then download extra stuff and examples n things

confused me at first but after watching the help files it soon became clear and seems a really useful tool, hope its what u were after

No all it says is "TileGem encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Nothing about Framework but i downloaded that too just in case...Shame, looked good.

You may find the file got corrupted during the download. Have you tried to download again?

Yeah tried 3 times now. My try it on another PC later.

what do you think to the software grumpy? im new to it myself, only found the link to it by chance, but seems usefull, out of curiosity i measured up my upstairs bathroom and used the same size tiles and grout within tile gem, put the bath sink and bog in place and got the tile layout the same as it is at tho moment (which some bloke who did our kitchen did) looks like this...

but if hed have shifted it all over half a tile it would have looked like this...

P.S ignore the bit overlapping the doorway, pretend those tiles arent there

If you use Precision Tile Pro you can use the polygon tool and can acheive better result, showing the actual area that is tiled. Imo you have more control and options. :yes:

I have been told that if you owned the standard version of Precision tile before the Pro release, you can get a special promotional code and save $50 off the price of the Pro version.:hurray: but I don't know if you already have the standard version :no:.

Not had chance to play around with it yet Mr Spoon. Looks good for free though. I think the downside for us in UK is that the tiles/adhesive/grout info contained in the software is based on the US market, but for just getting a feel for the setting out, I think it would do the job.
