Hi all,
How much do you hate wasting a day.
my story begins yesterday when about to start tiling a kitchen floor after completeing the walls i noticed that the slc the customer had layed onto his kitchen floor had large cracks in...(they would not pay for me to do it)...bent down and tapped a couple of areas and had hollow sounds....hmmmm not good i thought any way i then had to wait 2 hours for the customer to arrive home from work....after a bit of conversation and a bit more investigation it seems that the customer had not followed the instructions and the slc had not bonded or been of sufficient strength. It was agreed that i would supply and relay the slc, the customer was removing the old one last night.
So this morning i went to my suppliers to pick some up (and materials for upcoming jobs) now my suppliers are in Warrington which is a complete nightmare for traffic at any time of the day but in the mornings it is worse. Any way 2 hours after setting off i finally arrived at the customers house and started to unload the slc and carried round the back of the house. The customer has given me a back door Key as (this is their exact words) They never use the front door only the back. so once i had carried the slc to the back door i put the key in the lock but the doors didnt open (french doors) looked thru the windows to see that the bolts at the top and the bottom had been pushed in place completely locking the doors. :mad2::mad2::mad2: Phoned the mobile number of the customer and got voice mail left a message to ring me back as i couldn't get in.
That was 10.30 this morning and i am still waiting for a call back.......at home in front of telly with a cuppa though.
