webber grout

alright people,

I am interested to know if webber floor grout is up to the job as i have not used it before, the floor is a wooden floor and the colour is sandstone
any advice would be appreciated.

Just did a 1m2 test area using the waterproof silver grey on polished porc floor it's lovely and smooth to apply doesn't feel gritty didn't slump in the joints and next day colour was 100% consistent. so I rate it so far and I've bought six bags . not many colour choices yet though.

Its a perfectable grout but my preference is for Mapei UCP all day long. Except for the white, in which case I use BAL Microflex.

Is it just me or does mapei white grout sometimes look more blue/grey than white?

I'm not a fan of weber grout, much prefer Tilemaster 3000.

Tilemaster 3000 is good stuff, I use the mid grey on geometrics all the time now.

Tilemaster have re done the formulation
For there grout Dave,not tried it yet so it might be better to wait for the new formula? up to you though mate??.

me too andy, rather than 1750ml I use 1500ml per 5kg bag

cheers guys, just a new shop has opened in my area and are pushing webber, we have choice of webber, mapei, granfix and bal , will have to try the webber, not so keen on granfix- but for now i will stick to Bal

I have used Bal,Weber & Ardex
I find Ardex good for colour matching as they hold a wide range of colours.
Bal is good for its mould resistance & nice to use.
But I personally find Weber to be cheaper than the other two, It is softer and doesnt have the coarseness the other two have... For example I can use it with confidence on polished Marble & polished glazed tiles without it scratching...

Weber floor and wall grout sets quickly and is lovely and smooth when washed off properly

Just grouted 90 metres in Weber and have to say it's good and smooth. Used Tilemaster 3000 not so long ago and again a nice product. Both i found easy to use.
