tiler burden
hi
i got a load of literature and some dvds sent by wedi uk yesterday covering all aspects of fixing, sizes, weight ratio's etc etc and on one of the dvd's they were constructing bath panels and vanity units out of sections of the wedi board. no timber was used to box in sections, just the wedi board with fixings, mastic and then taped for strength/water resistance.
question is...it all looked great, fast , labour effective but, is it strong enough long term. how does it rate when knocked. if anybody has used it to build in steps or features then id be grateful of any advice
regards
