Fred

I was going to work for a bathroom fitter friday to sunday, but the plastering was not cured. OK, I thought, the weekend off!

Then I got a call from a client I've done work from crying they needed a room they have converted to a shower room tiled as they had folks from Aus turning up earlier than expected! Odd I thought.

Any way, I saw the room friday ( was booking in for a few weeks time) And said at a push, I could do it sat-sun. Went to CTD, just a few streets away.

I started saturday at 8am, 16 m2, walls only, and finished at 6.30 pm, only leaving the top and bottom cuts to do.

Turned up this morning at 8am, put the cuts in with white rapid, a 15 minute break, and started grouting the good areas. Finally finished at 4 pm.

Not even a tip to say thanks for giving up my weekend and getting them out of a shot.:incazzato::8:I am now......LOL

Does a customer have to give tips..?

Price the job....do the job...get paid.....tip is a bonus and shouldn't be expected IMO...

I'm sure they would have been very grateful and certainly recommend you to others, thats what counts recommends and happy customers.

Good point :hurray:

Well done Fred. I'm sure as Dave says if they're happy you have a customer for life there. Plus if their mates from Aussie really like the job you could end up going over there to do a bit? Might be hoping a bit too much there but you never know mate.
