Welcome to tilersforums.com, the UK's biggest tile community. We started in April 2006 and had a slow start, by December 2006 we still were quite small, by January 08 we became the biggest UK tile website on the net, we're now heading to be the biggest tile website on the net full stop.
We allow browsing as a guest, but we encourage user activity nonetheless. Feel free to introduce yourself to the gang by starting a new topic off in the introductions forum - you're looking for the 'New Thread' image that's on the left HERE.
A bit about yourself, perhaps where you come from, what you do in the tile industry, maybe you're DIY, maybe you're a professional, anything will do, even a Hi. Please do NOT post telephone numbers or email addresses live on the net unless you're registered with TPS Online (UK Only) which will STOP COLD CALLERS using your telephone numbers in their databases. I'm afraid there's nothing like that for e-mail spam, so just keep your e-mail addresses to yourself and use the forum Private Messaging system (what's private messaging?) instead.
Perhaps take this oportunity to remind yourself of the Rules and read the Forum Usage Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
If you're here for advice, then checkout The First Post You Should Read.
If you run or work for a company providing advice, services or products to those in the tile industry then perhaps read about our Sponsorship Scheme. If the latter is the case then please keep your links to your signature and your first introduction thread and don't link-to or mention prices in the forum. Remember this forum will be around for a long time and services, products and prices all change over time - we don't want the content to become old and useless. Think generically and try not to mention brand names too much, though of course we know you need to, so you can when you have to.
I hope your experience here is enjoyable and informative, though if it isn't you can always message one of the forum 'leaders'. Those are the Administrators (Dave and I - Dan) or the moderators which are GrumpyGrouter and Varley.
We have a resident NVQ advisor provided by ChaseTiling, if you're looking for Tiling NVQ advice then please checkout the Tile NVQ Forum.
To all; this forum is free for personal and nonprofit use. But it does cost a lot to run. So we have community sponsors. Please use these when possible and spend what you can with them. You'll find that once you're registered you'll learn about benefits they bring to the community which can often include special member discounts. Our elite members get the biggest discounts for providing VERY good advice and lots of it! (Their contributions are the most trusted).
Here's a quick reminder about what a forum is. So expect opinions you don't agree with and feel free to discuss them with the rest of the community - but be polite and considerate, we don't accept anything you wouldn't accept in real life - we are real people with real feelings!
