Been a while since I had cause to source one and in the past have always used Impey. However they seem to be getting bloody expensive so what are other using and where are you sourcing from?

I'm a big Marmox user, but have a look at Schluter. I use Tilefix direct mainly.
Impey are usually pretty good value depending where from. What price are you paying say for a 900 x 900 Impey?

The merchants I use a lot have both priced me with in pence of each other. 1000 x 1000 Impey came in at £380.00 inc.

To be fair that is 16pence cheaper than my online price I have paid for a 1000 x 1000 in the past!

Wedi or Schluter for me. Via ctd. Not cheap by any means but neither am I!

Dont get me wrong fella's I don't, and have never, skimped on a job as in my eyes it has to be done right. Call back's cost both money and reputation! I know Impey works but I just don't see where they get the costings from; lets be honest here, we are talking technology that is basic in the extreme and pretty old at that. I was laying up fibreglass components in the early 80's!

And when you can do a quick google and find:-

Which includes the tanking kit as well you have to wonder about Impey pricing. Having said all of that I am nervous about using a product for the first time due to my opening statement!!

Marmox is the easiet to use imo

£380!! Did that price include the tanking membrane?
If not you need to start shopping around for better prices.
Just bought 1000x1000 impey aqua-dec with tiled floor outlet on ebay.
£245 with free delivery.

Nope, both merchants were within pence of one another and neither price included tanking.

£245 is a superb price!
