Wet room former

tiled a wet room former today ,but bad design ,the channell water runway was to deep about 25 mm off addy did it but far to much ,anyone had this

That's terrible. It's even got an old 1 1/2 waste. Most now are 3"

Is it the correct fitting?

Yeah! Was earlier on this year, the waste was joined to a massive metal base plate that sat on top of the tray and you tile onto it to hold the trap in place

is that build up of addy not removing some of the fall of the former or am I missing something here? looks a terrible design mate.

Yeah it's pretty terrible. Luckily, there was ufh on the rest of the floor so I managed to slc it higher in order to keep the fall.
