What a waste.

I saw this plastic listello in a black and white chequered design on the Homelux website for £17. However, I’m pretty sure I saw the same thing in Topps a lot cheaper. So I popped into Topps the other day, but I could not find it on the display. I asked about it and the guy behind the counter said they had a few of them on display last week but the line is now discontinued. He said that he had to spray them all with red paint, break them up and put them in the skip! What a waste. They also threw away loads of bags of grout to make way for new stock. Topps must be making too much money.

I was working in a warehouse a few years back around the 23rd December. We were finishing off the steps from the office to the first floor. An articulated fridge unit (double decker) was going to the Isle of man carrying Marks and Spencers Turkeys, ham, cheese etc etc, it was late leaving and would not make the ferry time to the Island so everything went into a skip! thousands of pounds worth. They used to give all this perfectly good food to a women's refuge in Manchester until they found that it was being pinched and so they decided to stop and dump it. A shocking waste of very good high end food.

People are dying from malnutrition and these firms chuck it all in the bin. Now that is a waste!

i know mate its a terrible thing to do when peeps are in Dir need it only takes a little bit of effort to get it to the right peeps!!!

I know a company ( one of the biggest distributors in the uk ) that have a massive kitchen display showroom for their doors etc ...Full kitchen room set displays...

When they change them.. and that is regular..they skip the lot...the employess get nowt , all skipped..:yikes:
