What Addy To Use??

Hello all, got job tiling over tile already up 16m2. Tiles up on paramount board so customer said tile straight over, tiles they have are 300x300 to go up, what would be the best addy to use and how much longer would i have to leave before i start to grout, i was thinking about 3 days to dry out??:ninja:

cant you take the tiles off and re board walls with gyproc?

The weight is going to building up on the walls with that size tile and there probably porcelain, Clean existing tiles and use spf

hi, the paramount wall backs on to their bedroom and another bedroom on other side and also their airing cupboard if i took them off wouldnt it damage the wall also what is the weight ratio for putting tiles up feels very solid wall tiles are 250 x 200 ceramic up at mo. New tiles are 300 x 250

Paramount is two boards sandwiched with a egg box between the two boards, I think what brian was saying was if you take the tiles of and the wall has some damage why not fix plasterboard over the top perhaps the dot and dab method. Sometimes the damage can be very slight where some surface paper comes off, Prime and then tile using spf IMO.
