What do i need to know?

I have been on and off learning how to tile for a while and now I am training up once again with a company , I just wondered if someone could provide me with a list of things i should really know. There is a lot of technical talk etc that i will not learn whilst on a job and different materials etc that i should really be reading up on.

Just need a list of the theory side of things i should learn also

Please if anyone can help will be much appreciated.

this site has most things you need to know mate just spend an hour or 2 every night reading up through the threads and it wont take long to pick up on materials etc

Caxton's Wall and Floor Tiling (from the 1920's) is well worth a read if you can find a copy.
All the principals required are there, and you get to see how tough tiling used to be!
