hi every1 can some1 please tell me what a washboy is used for, i am thinking its to finsh and clean the tiles once grouted? also what are margin trowels used for? cheers guys:dizzy2:

a margin trowel is basicly a 1" trowel used for numerous things, mainly keeping the grout lines clean, stiring grout and adhesive, and anything else you can use it for, scrapping the tile remains off the cutter is a good one
and that :8:Hi Harry, you more or less have it about the washboy, after you have removed excess grout with your float the washboy is used to profile and clean. As for margin trowels, they are just a smaller version of your standard various notched trowels, only smaller for hard to get to places.
