it's granit for sure, i took it from wall today, but never seen this stone before ( italian? indian?) I think it's been there for over 100 years :lol:

client doesn't want it, so i was thinking, i could have little project christmas time at home ( repolish, repair it etc.) and send to Lithuania (fit in my flat)

Ilike it , but its very dirty at the moment. Tryed to polish one small bit, and it bekame much lighter grey colour

If it's been there for about a 100 years and around a fire place it's probably gathered some dirt on the surface...

its brazilan will give you name tommorow got samples on computer at work cant think of name at the moment but if it comes to me will let you know

I was going to say India,did a Nightclub floor in Indian slate looks just like that.So maybe it was Soapstone,but the customer said it was slate it looked stunning when done,but went back the day after they opened it was scratched every where,due to broken bottles and glass.
