Hi all, I have had a liquid screed floor with underfloor heating installed. The screed has been down since July and has been warmed up as the hard frosts hit. The underfloor installer said I need to put a laybond epoxy sealer on first before laying tiles.
I am going to have a go at laying the tiles myself, I don't expect it to be perfect as it's not my trade but I work carefully, methodically and cleanly and above all I take the time to listen to anyone who is willing to give me their time to pass on advice.
The tile adhesive I have bought is tops tiles trade, slow set flexible adhesive that will fix porcelain and stone.
I have ordered a rubi ts 50 plus(not arrived yet)
The tiles are 450x450x8.5 procelain
Finally down to my question, what type of trowel should I use 6mm,10mm,notched,squared,semi circle etc etc?
What is the theroy behind the different thickness or type of notch?
I hope I have given you as much info you will need and I look forward to your replies,
Many thanks in adavnce, Simon
