What to use?

Hi Tilers,

I've popped over from the dark side (the electricians forum) with a question to the professional tilers amongst you. I have a shower enclosure with a flat wall cornering onto the curved wall of a basement vault. Tiles are an option albeit difficult, especially for me, so I wondered if there was a wall material similar to flooring for wet rooms that I could use to provide a suitable surface for the inside of a shower.

How about mosaics or small tiles?,they will go around a curve

Thank you for that but I would like the tiles to be in line between the flat wall and the curved wall. As one tile will be straight and the other angled the gap becomes increasingly greater.

Think i am reading this right or maybe not, you have a flat wall that leads into a curved wall? you want a suitable finished surface on the curved wall that ties into the curved wall? as mentioned above you could tile the curved wall in mosaics, but you dont want too as you want the grout lines to match with the flat wall is this correct? you could cut your tiles the same ones that are on the flat wall into thin strips this will then allow them to go around the curve.

Mosaic are probably the answer. They can be cut to fill the space.
Or are you asking about a rubber type material?

As above, pics would help. If I am understanding correctly (I might not be) I would probably go for mosaics, looks really nice on curved walls.
