what training center would you recommend

i live near Wickford Essex, and am gonna go on a 5 day starter course to see if tiling is something i may wish to pursue, or just for DIY i like the idea of doing something practical that i can look at and say yep well nice i done that, and if i'm any good then may start looking to building my empire, anyway back to the question which training center would you recommend, thanks

I also went to NETT (north East Tiler Training) and because it’s the only tiling course I have done that is the only one I can recommend. Have a look at the course feedback forum for a bit more info.

I agree with davy, might be a treck for you but NETT will be worth the time and money IMO

thanks everyone gonna go with able skills as local and seen there center, also read a lot on the forum and lots of praise for it, will get back and let you know how i get on. either plumbing or tiling.

I cant recommend these guys enough. the MD is from Essex and travels in every day so its no biggie! they dont only do tiling courses but carpentry, plastering to mention just a few. and the big hook is you dont only get a center certificate that, lets be honest ain't really much use in the real world but instead you are entered for you NVQ
