What Van?

Hi guys looking into getting a van. What would you recommend? The only requirements i have are that it has to have a good mpg and not to expensive. Cheers

Wilgold, your van choice will be narrowed down by your budget, initially. Then you need to factor in what space you think you need, then mileage etc. etc..

I use a Transit Connect which serves me well, but I think my next van will be larger and, I hope, faster.......I want a VW Transporter Sportline :lol:.

Hi Will I ditched the van a year ago & got my self a nice double cab truck with hard top, best thing I done m8,

Same payload as Transit

No need for a second veichle

better mpg than say a vito

Get to work in the snow

I have noticed customer reaction to it and I have to say it has got me more work, I went for the mazda b2500 with the chrome (same as ford ranger) was plesantly suprised when buying a service kit for it mucho cheapo!

i have a vivaro best van i have ever had ex bt so comes with all the racking gives you a place for everything

Vivaro here also! Just had the MOT done today, straight through. I love it and cos it's 6 speed the MPG is 30+. I have heard a couple of horror stories about the gearboxes on the older ones but, touch wood, mine is all good.

I am just starting to look into vans myself. My mate has just set up as a plumber and he has a transit connect and as nice as they are he is complaining aboout space already. I may initially have too much space with a transit or a vivaro to start with but i plan to do prepping as well plasterboard, wedi etc... so will have to go for one of them.

Love my Transit semi-hi-top and not had a single problem with it from new. Due to change it in September and will be getting exactly the same again
