Working today and tomorrow. 90 metre floor and 20 metre wall which hopefully we should have done by Sunday Evening (4 of us!) to give us Monday off to then attend a schluter day Tues before starting a 170 metre floor so pretty frantic at the moment but not complaining as you never know what's around the corner. Hopefully more.

Tomorrow and for the next few weeks, paint the exterior of a very big house in Lymington. Got it all pressure washed and fungicided last week, now on to scraping, filling and preparing for painting the week after. Thank goodness we're into a run of dry weather now ! Not looking forward to climbing up onto the roof to paint the chimneys, though.

I know it's not tiling but we do all sorts. Scariest bit is that it's our first year of using water-based gloss paints on exterior woodwork now that the oil paints are so useless, especially the whites which go yellow after just a few months. Hope these new ones last a bit !

Good luck with that Chris, not a job you need to be going back to.

I used Farrow and Ball on my skirting and plasterwork in my lounge a couple of months ago and that is water based and pure quality. If I remember rightly the decorators merchant I use told me that F&B are all water based now.

nice day of rest tomorrow ( monday) starting a big new build house on tuesday, about 400 metres in total with some big floors 90+m, fully tiled ensuite 50m, so something to get my teeth into, got my new tx 700n which replaced my ts70+ courtesy of Sir Ramic, if that don't cut the porcelain , then its across to the darkside 'Sigma'
