What would you have done?

Tiling a wall in a very old house. Overboarded the wall and ran the tiles up to a door frame. However the door frame was not vertical. I finished with a full tile at the bottom of the frame and my tiles, being vertical, then ran "away" from the frame as they went up the wall. The door opens onto the newly tiled wall. Two questions; would anyone have set this out differently? and where you have the face edge of tile on top of plasterboard how do you finish this so the edge looks good

PS Very quiet in Canterbury at the moment, does anyone need any extra hands?

I would have taken in to account where my cuts around the door would have been before finalising my datum. I have learned that you are always asking for trouble if you finish with a full tile anywhere near a corner, frame, window etc. I will always look to have a cut there personally.

Marking out really should have been cuts to doorframe,sat into tiletrims...Gaz

If you ever end up with a full tile into corner ALWAYS check adjacent wall for plum.
ie fix full tile at furthest away point if poss
