What's the best tiling trowel you've used?

I like the trowels made by Bensons Industries Ltd but find they are over-priced. I've found a similar engineering company that can manufacture a duplicate (or as legally near to, with a couple of small improvements) but can get similar ones made too. Maybe you prefer the Rubi trowels, maybe the marshalltown trowels?.

So before I order a few thousand, I'd like to know what you use.

marshalltown trowels, rsj's... in 8mm cheap and cheerful, the larger notched u trowels i go for quality

I like Marshalltown trowels, but have a few Tileasy trowels which I bought because I needed them that day and I've never had a problem with them.

rubi for me too but as im cack handed i'm limited to what i can get

Rubi for me, soft grip only though, the wooden ones are cack and last about 1 job before the handle comes loose.

Got a set of Durasoft trowels recently. Nice to work with and stay straight. Worst trowels I've used lately are Forte ones, the rivits in the spine come lose easily.

These threads that Enduro keeps pulling must have been from the earliest era of this forum when Dan was desperate to get everyone talking. :smilewinkgrin:

I use Rubi only because the stainless steel trowels sold by Trade Tiler are best value, and when left wet, dont corrode!!:hurray:

to be honest not really bothered what i use as long as its not rubi cant stand the handles
