mr grr and I have realised that planning when you have a newborn baby is an impossibility. so we've now realised we have to fit everything we want to do in between feeds

so in 4 hours, we managed to get to B&Q as they have a cafe in store ( ), buy some washers to fix some taps, then on to Tesco to buy some more nappies and baby wipes and then on to my mum's just in time for a nappy change and the next feed. grandparents are surprisingly willing to change dirty nappies. not sure why

and now we're just waiting for the next feed to come and go so we can order a chinese takeaway and crack open a bottle of wine.

tomorrow we supposedly have visitors coming round in the afternoon. loads of people have said they would come and visit, very few have actually appeared.

Well, it's chucking it down monsoon like and I've been in my studio and on the pc and it sounds so boring and maybe a bit ordinary, but I was just listening to the radio and not sure why, but something made me stop and realize, again, how happy I am. Settled in the right for me marriage, in the right for me place on earth, with the right for me working conditions, and the right for me friendships and even the right for me cat. Could I concentrate on some negatives that crop up everynow and then? Of course I could, but I don't want to. This is a lovely time in my life, and realizing it so intensely makes this the perfect weekend :)
