Where to buy an iPad ???

Am I better buying an iPad ,of say the likes of Argos or other, than going to the Apple store ! What's the advantages of the apple store compared to others !

None to be honest. Find the cheapest main high street retailer and spend your dollars there. Apple will sort any issues when it's in warranty at one of their stores. Happy hunting

Apple set the retail price for iPad so they are the same price wherever in general. Your best buying from a shop that will give you top class service. I bought mine at John Lewis.

Ditto John Lewis for 3 reasons :-
1. Anything electrical from there comes with a MIN of 2 year warranty.
2. They' normally deliver it to you for nothing
3. They guarantee you cant buy it cheaper.

eBay but check it's in warranty still. There's a website you can run the serial number through to see if it's still in warranty. Ideally you want one that hasn't been registered yet, as their warranty starts the day it has been registered. But you can ALWAYS get them cheaper on ebay than in a store.

IPads all seem to have the same price fixed everywhere. Worth looking into the Android tablets too for half the price and just as good/better. (From an iPad user)

I think you are best buying from a duty free shop if you are traveling abroad , my son saved hundreds .........
