The makita LXT range of tools is really good, if you shop around you can get some bargains, it may be worth buying it as a set with other tools and batteries to get the best value.

Always had Makita grinders, great value and power. Never had a cordless but, if the batteries are anything like the drills then they will be top notch.

dont go for the makita cordless cuts out too much,go for a corded model.i went for a metabo,great clutch,and only a little bit more than makita dewalt bosch, steer away from the cordless in my opinion.

Wouldn't recommend the Makita cordless as I have one myself overheats to quickly , the only thing that its good for is cutting trim and really fine ceramics !!! Sell you mines if your interested its only 5 months old!
