which thickness of wed / maramox board to use?

Previously i have always sed tanking systems but using a waterproof board for the first time - wedi or maramox ( unless someone can suggest an alternative product )

which thickness should i use?

i plan to only use the waterproof board on the wet areas, and plasterboard on the dry areas

i will be tiling (ceramic) the wet areas, and skimming and painting the dry areas

any advice welcomed

You can get Marmox in 12.5mm. You will still have to tape an tank joints.

Min 12.5mm for walls and IMO 10mm for floors.

thanks for the info, ordered 12.5 mm today from floorwarmers

just need to find a decent price on the joint tape - any suggestions for sub £45 / roll ? is it really necessary to use marmox tape?
