White sand

Hi lads ladies just wondered if you lot could help trying to find out what hansons white sand is and coloured grit it has been asked for it on a pointing finish. I will have to move to a brick forum Dan sort it lol

i thought it may be a northern thing white sand being silver sand and grit being sharp sand it all has to be mixed with white cement

If it's a Hansen product (I used to translate for them many many years ago) it's white cement and a coloured sand mixed in with it, used for pointing in a variety of pretty colours) Used to get Hansen products from Jewsons, might be good to ask them?
