White tile trim

I ve been tiling about a year or so now and i tiled a kitchen the other day and i noticed once i had finished grouting, the white tile trim had gone a bit yellow. I was using grey grout made by unibond( it was supplied). I ve never had this happened to me before. Has this happened to any body .

only looks dull sometimes if you don't wipe of any white grout but never heard of it happening with grey

Was it new trim and not a piece of old stock was it, white plastic will yellow after a number of years but not new stuff

I have seen yellowing trim in old jobs that have been up for years but not as soon as its grouted!?! Maybe it was a lower grade of plastic than usual... and taken in some of the colour from the grout or water???

Never seen new trim go yellow, only old kitchen trim thats been subjected to years of 60 **** a day.

Mayb e a silly question but just in case......

Are you sure you wasn't using a cream/ivory trim and then a white grout which made the trim look yellowish.

Just can;t imagine a white plastic go yellow that quickly
