If I was doing large amounts of caulking or silicone I would consider one just for ease of use.....never seen one used by anyone though.

I have never seen anyone use them either mark ! but i will have loads of expansion joints to do in the school pool so i thought it would make life easier ......

Dave they are much easier for some of the adhesives. I don’t use them while doing expansion joints.

Could you use it for pointing brick slips ?

Could be used for grouting, but for silicone I don't really see the advantage. You would still have to tool the silicone into the joint so in theory you could not go too far before having to stop and tool. Unless you had a helper with a fugi profiler or stick following you.

OMG I've just seen the price £300. It would need to come with an impact driver and 2 spare batteries for that price.
